everyone.
It's been a little while since I've sent an update, and actually,
it's been a while since I've been in to visit with Ken. While away
in Vegas I came down with Bronchisitis!! So, needless to say I've
stayed away.
Only a couple of things to update everyone on. OT has gotten Ken a
smaller wheel chair. With this chair he can use his feet to help
push him along, and it is much easier for him to move around using
only his right arm.
BONE FLAP DATE!! The date has been set for the reinesrtion of his
bone flap for Oct. 10th! Usually staying at KGH for a day or two
then returning to St. Mary's. His nurse even told him that he'd
likely feel fine and could even go home on the weekend for
thanksgiving.... he said he needs to think about it!!
Ken may dip in the pool soon.... we'll see how that goes.
I'm hoping to visit with him soon.. and will pass along any other
updates!
